Lesly Moyano Peña es una fotógrafa y curadora de arte contemporáneo y fotografía con sede en Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Es Licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Artes y Ciencias Sociales Arcis en Santiago de Chile, y cuenta con diplomados en Curaduría de Arte Contemporáneo y Fotografía Artística y Contemporánea del Node Center for Curatorial Studies en Berlín. En su carrera como fotógrafa, ha participado en exposiciones nacionales e internacionales, entre las que destacan la Feria de Fotografía Contemporánea de Buenos Aires (BA Photo 2020) junto a Kiosko Galeria y la beca internacional de ECO/22 de la fundación Vist Projects junto al colectivo WarMi Photo. Como curadora y gestora de arte contemporáneo y fotografía, sus últimos proyectos incluyen el FoCo Lab, un laboratorio formativo de fotografía contemporánea, las residencias fotográficas "Existimos" y "Estallidxs" en narrativa de género, territorio e identidad, junto al colectivo WarMi Photo, y la serie de charlas internacionales de fotografía latinoamericana y boliviana "Organismos Vivos" en colaboración con Kiosko Galería. Actualmente, se dedica a la docencia, producción e investigación en torno a la imagen fotográfica.
Lesly Moyano Peña is a photographer and curator of contemporary art and photography based in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Arts and Social Sciences Arcis in Santiago, Chile, and has diplomas in Contemporary Art Curating and Artistic and Contemporary Photography from the Node Center for Curatorial Studies in Berlin.
In her career as a photographer, she has participated in national and international exhibitions, including the Buenos Aires Contemporary Photography Fair (BA Photo 2020) alongside Kiosko Galeria, and the international ECO/22 grant from the Vist Projects Foundation in collaboration with the WarMi Photo collective.
As a curator and manager of contemporary art and photography, her recent projects include the FoCo Lab, a training laboratory for contemporary photography, the photographic residencies "Existimos" and "Estallidxs" focusing on gender, territory, and identity narratives, alongside the WarMi Photo collective, and the international lecture series on Latin American and Bolivian photography titled "Organismos Vivos" in collaboration with Kiosko Galería.
Currently, she is dedicated to teaching, production, and research in the field of photographic imagery.
